Inishmore Downs

Inishmore Downs is located in Pike Road, AL just outside of Montgomery. Inishmore Downs specializes in teaching classical, balanced seat riding in the disciplines of hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing. Horses in training and full-board offered on a limited basis. Schooling horseshows will be offered in 2008.

Owned by Scott and Shannon McGlon, Inishmore Downs is named after Inismore Island off of the west coast of Ireland. Celtic for "large island", Inishmore Downs is our large island away from the world!

Shannon is an HA Graduate from the United States Pony Clubs and holds a B.S. in Animal Sciences from Auburn University. She frequently judges schooling hunter, dressage, and combined shows and conducts horse management clinics for USPC, 4H, and other youth and adult equine organizations.
