Services

Inishmore Downs currently offers limited services in full board and customized training.

Overnight stabling is available for travelers. A current Coggins test and Health Certificate (for out of state horses) are required for each horse. Call for stall availability. We are conveniently located less than 6 miles from I-85 and 5 major hotels that are less than 2 years old. Rates are $20.00 per horse per night, shavings included. Hay can be provided for a small fee with advanced notice - Coastal Bermuda and Alfalfa available. Our stalls are generously oversized at 11' x 16' or 13.5' x 13.5'.

Private Lessons are available on our horses or your horse. We specialize in developing the rider's basic balanced position, concentrating on the seat, aids, and overall communication with the horse. This allows riders to develop into thinking and feeling riders that can work with their horses in a variety of situations. Lesson programs can be developed for riders on an individual basis.

The Pike Road Community will open a 15 mile equestrian riding trail in 2010. We are located less than a mile from this public trail. Information on the trail construction progress is available at the Pike Road Community website.

Summer Riding Lesson Series

Sharpen your horse management & riding skills by participating in our hand-on, highly interactive horse management lessons this summer.  We will meet once a week, for 7 weeks, and jump in to some critical issues that will improve your horsemanship.  Register early - space is limited.    Email or call us for a registration form or more information about the classes.
